The Seven Stars Inn
Robertsbridge, East Sussex
The ideal English country village pub.
Over 600 years of hospitality in historic Robertsbridge. Built in the closing years of the 14th century, this medieval Wealden Hall on the main road from Hastings to London has sheltered and refreshed travellers for 6 centuries. As a public house, the Seven Stars Inn sells Harvey's Real Ales, made locally in Sussex and serves real Sussex food.
Any building of such antiquity has a reputation for being haunted, and the Seven Stars has its own collection of rumoured spirits. Despite there being no recent sightings, the Seven Stars is a popular spot for the spectrally-curious. Most seekers after spirits settle for a Scotch.
The Seven Stars Inn is one of the oldest buildings in the village, and is listed by English Heritage. Please explore this website to get directions, investigate transport options - we have our own car park behind the large beer garden if you must drive. We have a good wine list and can do catering for functions, here or nearby.
